Mumbai Meri Jaan

It's almost a 3 months when i wrote last blog....I couldn't say I was so busy to not able to write a 50 lines to stupidity...but still could not make as I was travelling in many weekend in other days our as usual weekend parties which made me to miss the blogging.

5 days to year end, suddenly I said to Subbu that I will also come to Mumbai this time. Though we were planning it for quite a long time, but not able to make it for many reasons. I have been to Mumbai very long back with my parents during my teens where I have created a great passion of living there. I have an unexpected friend who primarily from Kamathipura. The next lines of blog will be more of my experiences personally and experiences shared by Mumbai dost.

Kamathipura, this word can a shock for any one who knew Mumbai very well. It was place where Dawood was born, where the crime and mafia have their deep branches started up here. The Kamathipura in the heart of the city, resembles the slum living shown the latest golden globe winner SDM. The life of people here start wee hours. Madhu was a mumbain by birth, a typical guy whom I never met, had big tattoo on left hand to identify his group there. He shared his experiences of involving in a freak robbery, attempt of murder and even many other shocking things. A normal person after learning all his living will try to avoid him as soon as possible, but my freaky mind made him a good friend mine. I was always passion of all stupid and new things, because I can never do them, so I at least love who can do that, good or bad. This my another strong reason to made the FAN of Amchi Mumbai.

The Dadar local station which intersects Western Railway and Central Railway lines. The primary mode of transport in Mumbai is Local train. A person who even owns a Laura will still prefer to travel in Local train. The frequency of trains is 2 minutes, but still you find the people flinging over the doors and hang all around. Though I was told about this station before we came here, but still I was in a shock a few seconds watching the crowd walking over each with an average speed of 7km. Too packed and too crowdy. To get over to the train I stood over the door and I was taken away inside automatically with crowd. One can easily go wild and run back to their place if a person come to Dadar to travel over for first time, i was not exception. For first time I was scared and felt that I am too lucky not to be Mumbai watching the crowd. One good thing all over here is one can buy the train tickets using a train card, buy a bunch of coupons - punch them before travel and or just stand in line. Many options to travel, but only toughest part is travelling.
The Colaba Street, the FTV live. Wow what a crowd. From Guess to GUCCI, you find all the latest trends flocking over there. Just like at right place you can find the Leopold cafe, the happening of the Mumbai. From 16 - 60, well of all gender just sit down like a our Hyderabadi Cafe to have beer. I was amazed to know that Cafe opens at 7 am and runs till 12 mid noon....typo mid night. Most of the crowd over here are foreigners, almost 70%. As this being one of the place where the firings has gone through in last year Terrorist attack, the security was quite tight and we were been checked with our bags and questioned by the owner when we asked for a reservation.
The Beer Tank is the most famous and very unique way of drinking beer. The Tank is 2.5 times larger than your regular pitcher, serves fresh beer. It was tough for 4 people like to us complete the whole tank, but you can find pretty girls order for more than one tank. Well as of culture, the coloba is full colors, nice time pass for bird watches and fantastic place to have some good beer.
So that's what I say...Mumbai Meri Jaan
More to be continued...Keep rocking....
